As the hardware for electronic books moves closer to the mainstream, publishers wonder whether their industry can be spared the potential problems of piracy.

Seems obvious, doesn't it? a techno-blogger at slashdot had aready declared the Kindle DX an 'iPod for books'... Is more profit to be made from the sale of devices than from fees and royalties? It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Stunning Musical Performance

I absolutely hate accordian music, and have ever since being forced at family gatherings to listen to my cousin repetitively play "Lady of Spain." Aaaack! (I'm sure he enjoyed my squawking clarinet just as much.)

However, this video shows an amazing rendition of classic Vivaldi.
